Like that gunslinger cat (brown hat). :D

If I may ask:
where do you obtain those brass casings with the glass for your rings or do you make them yourself?
I've been looking for such pieces for a couple of my projects, but didn't wanted to slay a whole antique typewriter just for a few bits.

they're just rings with a cameo setting and then i topped them with a little epoxy cabochon done. the rings i buy through Etsy, and then the little domes I get at Michale's. They're 12mm self adhesives so you don't have to worry about glue ruining the image beneath.

Ingenious!
It's always great to discover some new stuff, one didn't know about before. The cameo settings seem quite a useful item for multiple purposes.
Lovely.
Thanks for the insight.

No problem :D I love love love cameo settings especially if you work with clays or resins. You don't have to worry about exposed sides  and if you get ones with filigree its takes something super simple and dresses it up super quickly.

Indeed.

And there are so many possibilities. One could use those settings with the cabochons easily as keys on a steampunk keyboard instead of slaughtering some antique typewriter or even combined with a fitting watchglass instead of the solid glass cabochon as a miniature gauges...
Simply great!
I really have to thank you for bringing these to my attention.

Again, you're welcome and I never thought about using them as type writer keys. that's genius!

Thanks.
Basically I was always searching for a substitute for those typewriter keys, so after I saw your rings, it was basically just 2+2. ;)
